ProtonChat first went online in November 2004 — ten thousand friends before the world even had a name for social networking. Life moved on, and I spent the years since building for everyone else — Caltech, MySpace, Jdate, Yellow Pages, Amazon, Apple, Disney, Television Networks, and other corporations. But this place never left my mind.

Now ProtonChat is back, rebuilt from the ground up — your stories, your photos, your people. If you were here in 2004: you were always in my Top 8.
